Loc: Pinnacle Roost
A towering, denuded column of rock. During the day, a massive eagle can be seen gliding on hot thermals in the vicinity of the column. At night, it roosts at the top.
Those caught climbing the pinnacle are attacked and brutally dropped to their deaths, but the potential rewards are great. A legend known to all states that consuming the eagle's egg will double the size of a human. In fact, it will have one of a number of effects:

d6 Eggs are available, but only one effect can be had by a single consumer.
Giant Eagle
STR 20, DEX 15, WIL 10, 20hp, Armor 3. Driven to protect its eggs and feed its chicks.
Tends not to bother killing anything smaller than a camel, unless the unlucky creature comes in contact with the eagle's pinnacle. Attacks causing less than d12 are Impaired.
The giant eagle grabs with wicked talons (d12). Prey taking critical damage is carried into the air and dropped to the earth, losing d6 points of STR and d6 points of DEX.
