Board/Card Games I played in 2023!

This year I joined a board game group at the LGBT community center down the street ("Gayme Night"). So in addition to playing a lot of the usual games with family, I've been exposed to a ton of new ones.

In alphabetical order, the board and card games I played in 2023 (* indicates new to me):

  1. Apples to Apples
  2. Battleship
  3. Birds of a Feather*
  4. Blokus*
  5. Cranium*
  6. The Crew: Mission Deep Sea*
  7. Exploding Kittens*
  8. Fast & Furious: Highway Heist*
  9. Go
  10. Hearts
  11. Kill Doctor Lucky*
  12. Kings in the Corner
  13. Machi Koro
  14. Pounce (aka Nertz)
  15. One Night Ultimate Werewolf*
  16. Pandemic
  17. Phase 10*
  18. Rack-O
  19. Rummikub
  20. Scattergories*
  21. Slamwich*
  22. Squint*
  23. Superfight*
  24. Telestrations*
  25. Ten Thousand (Dice Game)
  26. Tsuro*
  27. UNO
  28. We Didn't Playtest This At All*
  29. World Game

My favorite that I've been introduced to at Gaymes is Tsuro! Really fun tile-placement, spatial-control game.

Also the Fast and the Furious board game is surprisingly good??? I bought it on a whim and foisted it upon the Gaymers. Really faithful to what makes the movies "fun" (well, not enough bisexual undertones). But tbh I bought it because I read that the car pieces fit under the semi truck piece (they do!!!).

Btw I also posted a list of RPGs I played in 2023.
